If you are
wishing to stay overnight, you must contact the Caretakers
to ensure your stay doesn't clash with a booked group. Capricornia Modern Veterans has been established to provide a place where young Veterans can drop in at anytime. Whether on your own, with your family, or with a group of Veteran mates, you can stay for up to 5 nights, use the kitchen facilities and make use of the ablution amenities on site. Modern Veterans are all former serving and current serving members of the Australian Defence Force who have served since 1990. Capricornia Modern Veterans is co-located at the Cockscomb Veterans Bush Retreat Inc at Cawarral situated between Yeppoon and Rockhampton in Central Queenland at the end of Camms Road. Our group is fully supported and covered by the Cockscomb Veterans Bush Retreat Incorporated organisation which complies with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. |
